St. JB

It was so wonderful to be back at a morning Mass with Father James and receive communion, then meditation and prayer in the tabernacle!

Father James's message today was:  "The Gospel was meant to challenge the culture, and not the other way around, the culture to challenge the Gospel."

As we know, that's what we humans do with what we think are our brilliant minds, try to change everything to fit our needs and desires, and "have it our way" like a friggin' hamburger!

Instead of following the wisdom and knowledge that was given to us from the beginning, which would have kept us in a constant flow of love and abundance, instead of having to work really hard for it.
Hmm, does that sound like a familiar story......Adam and Eve, maybe?

Hence, we would have Heaven on Earth, as was always promised to us as our God-given birthright.  Some of us are much closer and more in-line with living that than others, and believing we even deserve it.

I'm still in the believing I've got to work really hard to deserve it, and I'm getting closer all the time.
Thank God!  I think, (there's that rascally mind again!)

Day One

We just set this up today!  Kelly is so good on the computer, and I feel very inept until she shows me what to do, and I've done it several times, or taken notes on every step.  I chose the jellybeans and background, we'll see if I can add anything on my own.  I'll just ask the pup if I need help, Ellie Bear, EllBelly, Elbow,  Little Bit, or Noodle.  Take your pick.
I love the days of just hanging out with the girls.
